What do you call them?</i> </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">----------</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">All you'll need:</span><br />
<ul type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; tab-stops: list .5in;"><span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">unfinished wood-framed mirror (available at craft stores; I used 12"x14")</span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif;">black paint</span></span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif;">paintbrush</span></span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif;">googly eyes (I used about 200, in assorted sizes and colors) </span></span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif;">your trusty Mod Podge </span></span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif;">optional: Diamond Glaze dimensional adhesive</span></span></li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif;">optional: other decorations or letters (I spelled "BOO")</span></span></li>
</ul>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-margin-top-alt: auto;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PgLVHx4IpDs/UnFMM3gvl_I/AAAAAAAAASA/yQe_kkhYWAw/s1600/IMG_1515.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-PgLVHx4IpDs/UnFMM3gvl_I/AAAAAAAAASA/yQe_kkhYWAw/s320/IMG_1515.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><b>Step 1:</b> </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif;">Take the mirror out of the frame. If yours isn't removable, use painter's tape to protect it.</span><b> </b></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><b>Step 2:</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">Paint the entire frame black. Don't worry about covering it perfectly, because most of it will be covered with googly eyes (jiggly eyes?! :)) anyway!</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BLVrmXcrkYY/UnFMJPhRprI/AAAAAAAAAR4/MREslE_wMkw/s1600/IMG_1513.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-BLVrmXcrkYY/UnFMJPhRprI/AAAAAAAAAR4/MREslE_wMkw/s320/IMG_1513.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><b> </b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><b>Step 3:</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">Given Step 4, this step may not be necessary. But I gave my entire frame a light coat of Mod Podge. Again, it doesn't have to be perfect because it will be covered with eyes.</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vb_8yPpnDCQ/UnFMUEzeLjI/AAAAAAAAASI/tepqPPMofPc/s1600/IMG_1516.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-vb_8yPpnDCQ/UnFMUEzeLjI/AAAAAAAAASI/tepqPPMofPc/s320/IMG_1516.JPG" width="240" /></a> </div>
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><b> </b></span><br />
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-rtUX5FeR69U/UhPo3G-KgRI/AAAAAAAAARo/RwfK5p_jW9o/s1600/tray3.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"></a><span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><b>Step 4:</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">Start
gluing on those googlies! My approach was to use my paintbrush to cover a small section
of the frame with a generous amount of Mod Podge, and then stick the eyes
on. I also added some chipboard letters at the top of the frame to spell "BOO"!</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">The Mod Podge will dry clear, so the excess in between is
fine. It will take quite awhile to attach all of those eyes!</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EKWA69ZhjgE/UnFMeURSkHI/AAAAAAAAASQ/08Yvmspa-L8/s1600/IMG_1520.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-EKWA69ZhjgE/UnFMeURSkHI/AAAAAAAAASQ/08Yvmspa-L8/s320/IMG_1520.JPG" width="320" /> </a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif;">I found one googly eye that was missing its googler! I decided to use it anyway. :) Can you spy it with your little eye?</span></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif;"> </span></span> </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9PHqWsk3I1Q/UnFMiUgJ7aI/AAAAAAAAASY/c7PPw7nhXPk/s1600/IMG_1521.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-9PHqWsk3I1Q/UnFMiUgJ7aI/AAAAAAAAASY/c7PPw7nhXPk/s320/IMG_1521.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><b>Step 5:</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">I wasn't totally convinced that the Mod Podge would hold the eyes on forever, especially because some of them had concave-ish bottoms and weren't sticking easily. So I decided to use Diamond Glaze dimensional adhesive in between the eyes. I think this also gave the final product a fun look. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">Specifically, after the Mod Podge had dried, I just squeezed a little bit of Diamond Glaze in between all of the little eyeballs, being careful not to get any on the eyes themselves. </span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9BXdT6c2M6I/UnFMkWOHSSI/AAAAAAAAASg/riK_W8IFNkw/s1600/IMG_1524.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-9BXdT6c2M6I/UnFMkWOHSSI/AAAAAAAAASg/riK_W8IFNkw/s320/IMG_1524.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><b>Step 6:</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">The Diamond Glaze should be left to dry for a few hours without moving or touching the project. Once it's dry, reinsert the mirror and voila! Fun and spooky Halloween decor. :)</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"></span>
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><b> </b></span><br />

<br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><b>Step 1:</b> </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif;">I wanted my paper to have an aged look. <span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><b> </b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><b>Step 2:</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">Sand the frame, if necessary, to give it a more aged look as well.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><b>Step 3:</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">Use a paintbrush to seal the wood with Mod Podge. I would recommend the matte variety for a vintage project like this one, but all I had was gloss and I do like the way it turned out.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">I recommend drilling holes first, rather than simply inserting the screws, to avoid accidentally splitting the wood. </span><br />

<ul type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;"><span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">E6000 -- NOT superglue!</span></li>
</ul>
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zJNlzBn_9Fk/UYWlnhDitnI/AAAAAAAAAP4/w4uPgyXbcSQ/s1600/IMG_0303.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="268" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-zJNlzBn_9Fk/UYWlnhDitnI/AAAAAAAAAP4/w4uPgyXbcSQ/s320/IMG_0303.JPG" width="320" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">I saw some very pretty (but breakable) plates and bowls at the dollar store, so this could potentially be a very inexpensive project! But I opted for the melamine dishes because they are not easily breakable.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">As you experiment with different dishes, you may need to/be able to use different adhesives. For my purposes, E6000 worked in adhering the glass to the melamine. Superglue will NOT work!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-margin-top-alt: auto;">
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><b>Step 1:</b> </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">Wash all of the dishes and candlesticks, and dry them well.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><b>Step 2:</b></span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;">Because with E6000 you put the adhesive on BOTH surfaces before sticking them together, I didn't feel comfortable with "eyeballing." I just grabbed a ballpoint pen and traced the candlesticks onto each surface. Make sure you trace the correct end of the candlestick, if it's not symmetrical top-to-bottom!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Times,"Times New Roman",serif; font-size: large;"><br /></span>

This is my first craft post not using Mod Podge! Shhh!)</i><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt;">----------</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt;">All you'll need:</span><br />
<ul type="disc">
<li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; mso-list: l0 level1 lfo1; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-margin-top-alt: auto; tab-stops: list .5in;">a 12" straw wreath; leave the plastic on!</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;">350 greening pins</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;">350 balloons in assorted colors</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;">ribbon</li>
<li class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;">3-4 hours, so find a couple Netflix documentaries you've been meaning to watch :)</li>
</ul>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-joo-i3k-9D0/UV2xMt3KfUI/AAAAAAAAAOg/C1qUhoUGLcs/s1600/IMG_0203.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-joo-i3k-9D0/UV2xMt3KfUI/AAAAAAAAAOg/C1qUhoUGLcs/s320/IMG_0203.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal;">
<br />
<b><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt;">Step 1:</span></b><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt;"> </span><br />
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt;">Amusingly, Step 1 tells what <u><b>NOT</b></u> to do. Do not take the plastic wrap off the straw wreath! It will make a giant mess and there's no need to remove it. I didn't think of this ahead of time, as you can see. Well, hindsight is 20/20, right?!</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-IVElRHFOQZI/UV2xQVVWsBI/AAAAAAAAAO0/lXER0jFSRwg/s1600/IMG_0205.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-IVElRHFOQZI/UV2xQVVWsBI/AAAAAAAAAO0/lXER0jFSRwg/s320/IMG_0205.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<b><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt;">Step 2:</span></b><br />
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";">To affix the balloons to the wreath, simply place each balloon between the prongs of a greening pin. Easy! Although kind of hard on the thumb once you have done a couple hundred of them, so maybe try using a rubber mallet or similar? </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";">As a bonus to using greening pins, there won't be any holes in the balloons </span>-- in case you have a balloon emergency and need them in the future. :)<br />
<b><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt;"> </span></b></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-z_KiXLV844s/UV2xQ4pt7gI/AAAAAAAAAO8/RNtpy0bZHsg/s1600/IMG_0206.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-z_KiXLV844s/UV2xQ4pt7gI/AAAAAAAAAO8/RNtpy0bZHsg/s320/IMG_0206.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-XAbEc6Egp28/UV2xRusknYI/AAAAAAAAAPE/6D8wicYxu5I/s1600/IMG_0207.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-XAbEc6Egp28/UV2xRusknYI/AAAAAAAAAPE/6D8wicYxu5I/s320/IMG_0207.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
I didn't leave very much space between each balloon, but you can experiment and see what you like. Also, I only covered the part of the wreath that would normally be seen; i.e., the front and sides. Don't waste your time and balloons and thumb-strength on the back if no one will ever see it, right?<br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="line-height: normal; mso-margin-bottom-alt: auto; mso-margin-top-alt: auto;">
<b><span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif"; font-size: 12pt;">Step 3:</span></b><br />
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";">If you want to hang your wreath with ribbon (i.e. instead of using a wreath hanger), leave a strip of non-ballooned space at the top. Then double-wrap a piece of ribbon</span> around the wreath, tie in a bow, and fill in the space with the last of the balloons. The pins will help to secure the ribbon in place, too.<br />
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-20pmlh4sGTg/UV2xVmoUBdI/AAAAAAAAAPM/OUGpGWyJFhI/s1600/IMG_0209.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-20pmlh4sGTg/UV2xVmoUBdI/AAAAAAAAAPM/OUGpGWyJFhI/s320/IMG_0209.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VZZTSZlMUiI/UV2xWCKeWqI/AAAAAAAAAPc/vANkSR6Pwjg/s1600/IMG_0210.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-VZZTSZlMUiI/UV2xWCKeWqI/AAAAAAAAAPc/vANkSR6Pwjg/s320/IMG_0210.JPG" width="320" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";"><br /></span>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-yYkfSIHk3OM/UV2xXxdQgyI/AAAAAAAAAPk/7-BwhtF05HY/s1600/IMG_0212.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-yYkfSIHk3OM/UV2xXxdQgyI/AAAAAAAAAPk/7-BwhtF05HY/s320/IMG_0212.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<span style="font-family: "Times New Roman","serif";"><br /></span>

<br />
----------<br />
<br />
All you'll need:<br />
<ul><li>small ceramic tiles (15 cents each at home improvement stores)</li>
<li>felt (25 cents at craft stores), cut into squares slightly smaller than the tiles</li>
<li>paintbrush</li>
<li>images: try patterned scrapbook paper, photos, post-it notes, or even tissue paper for a unique look</li>
<li style="border-color: -moz-use-text-color; border-style: none; border-width: medium;">your trusty Mod Podge</li>
<li style="border-color: -moz-use-text-color; border-style: none; border-width: medium;">adhesive suitable for ceramics (to attach the felt) -- not pictured below</li>
<li>glossy varnish (not water-based)</li>
</ul><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-t-2ZGMTNMwA/Tk7HfDVDOzI/AAAAAAAAAEA/CYfuz1ZYVE8/s1600/IMG_3549.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-t-2ZGMTNMwA/Tk7HfDVDOzI/AAAAAAAAAEA/CYfuz1ZYVE8/s320/IMG_3549.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<b>Step 1:</b><br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">If necessary, trim the paper and the felt to fit the front and back of the tiles, respectively. The nice thing about using Post-it notes is that they're already the perfect size!</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><b>Step 2:</b></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Using Mod Podge and a paintbrush, attach each paper piece to its tile. Work any air bubbles out from under the paper.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4pTP4EfxPIo/Tk7MjYpZkGI/AAAAAAAAAEU/GaIIIN0EUb0/s1600/IMG_3551.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4pTP4EfxPIo/Tk7MjYpZkGI/AAAAAAAAAEU/GaIIIN0EUb0/s320/IMG_3551.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><b>Step 3:</b></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Using Mod Podge and a paintbrush, coat the top and sides of each tile to seal the image. I recommend applying only one coat -- or two very thin coats.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-om198FzElUs/Tk7M7fTs-bI/AAAAAAAAAEY/9kZUNg_bzo8/s1600/IMG_3552.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/-om198FzElUs/Tk7M7fTs-bI/AAAAAAAAAEY/9kZUNg_bzo8/s320/IMG_3552.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
<b>Step 4:</b><br />
After the Mod Podge has dried (give it at least 15-20 minutes), apply the varnish. Only apply one or two coats, allowing it to dry between coats. Because Mod Podge is water-soluble, it will not protect your coasters from condensation -- so this step is important!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-OCkBaXsDlsg/Tk7N9cbp4XI/AAAAAAAAAEc/9HogUpsIO8c/s1600/IMG_3558.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-OCkBaXsDlsg/Tk7N9cbp4XI/AAAAAAAAAEc/9HogUpsIO8c/s320/IMG_3558.JPG" width="240" /></a></div><br />
<b>Step 5:</b><br />
Once the varnish is completely dry, attach felt to the bottom of each tile<b> </b>with glue to protect furniture surfaces. (Note: do not stack the coasters until the glue has completely cured; otherwise the fumes may cause damage to the varnish of the coaster below!)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qNDU5M_Mil8/Tk7OXlY-0FI/AAAAAAAAAEg/4yteKMQrYjY/s1600/IMG_3559.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/-qNDU5M_Mil8/Tk7OXlY-0FI/AAAAAAAAAEg/4yteKMQrYjY/s320/IMG_3559.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><br />
And there you have it -- you're done!<br />
<br />

<br />
----------<br />
<br />
All you'll need:<br />
<ul><li>unfinished frame ($3 at craft stores) </li>
<li>gift cards with $0 balances (I've also used old parking passes and credit cards) </li>
<li>scissors </li>
<li>paintbrush </li>
<li>your trusty Mod Podge </li>
<li>acrylic paint (optional; not pictured)</li>
</ul><br />

----------<br />
<br />
All you'll need to start getting organized:<br />
<ul><li>empty Quaker Oats canister, or similar</li>
<li>scrapbook paper </li>
<li>measuring tape </li>
<li>paper trimmer or scissors </li>
<li>paintbrush</li>
<li>your trusty Mod Podge</li>
</ul><br />
<ul><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><img border="0" height="240" n4="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_4leil77yaSg/TS0bBLb7REI/AAAAAAAAAA4/eTnTClwwkDU/s320/IMG_0418.JPG" width="320" /></div></ul><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><br />
<div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><strong>Step 1:</strong></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">First you'll need to take three measurements: (1) find a headband and be sure that it fits snugly around the container you've selected; (2) measure the height of your container; (3) measure the circumference of your container.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><strong>Step 2:</strong></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Cut your paper to size. I used two different types of paper to create four panels on my container. Since I measured my container's height to be 9" and its circumference to be 16", I cut four 9" x 4" rectangles.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_4leil77yaSg/TS0bIX_QJmI/AAAAAAAAAA8/Bc8UFn80ruk/s1600/IMG_0420.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" n4="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_4leil77yaSg/TS0bIX_QJmI/AAAAAAAAAA8/Bc8UFn80ruk/s320/IMG_0420.JPG" width="320" /></a></div></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><strong>Step 3:</strong></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Using a paintbrush, secure each panel of paper to the container with Mod Podge. Be sure to work out any air bubbles with your fingers, working from the center out.</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><strong>Step 4:</strong></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Cut a circle out of the paper you have left, and secure it to the lid using the paintbrush and Mod Podge.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_4leil77yaSg/TS0bPO4PtGI/AAAAAAAAABA/r0P2cuZDvD0/s1600/IMG_0425.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" n4="true" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_4leil77yaSg/TS0bPO4PtGI/AAAAAAAAABA/r0P2cuZDvD0/s320/IMG_0425.JPG" width="320" /></a></div></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;"><strong>Step 5:</strong></div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">Finally, apply a couple layers of Mod Podge over the entire project to seal it and give it some shine. Pay special attention to the seams between pieces of paper to prevent peeling. You might notice that the Mod Podge causes air bubbles to form; that's okay! They'll disappear on their own when it dries, like magic.<br />
<br />
</div><div style="border-bottom: medium none; border-left: medium none; border-right: medium none; border-top: medium none;">When your project is completely dry, get organizing! In addition to displaying your headbands on the outside of the organizer, you can store rubber bands, clips, and bobby pins on the inside.</div><br />

<em>----------</em><br />
<br />
All you need for this sweet personalized clipboard:<br />
<ul><li>plain fiberboard clipboard (about $2)</li>
<li>scrapbook paper</li>
<li>scissors</li>
<li>paintbrush</li>
<li>Sharpie(s)</li>
<li>your trusty Mod Podge</li>
</ul><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_4leil77yaSg/TSzx0f6BFsI/AAAAAAAAAAo/y-mEH_V1dto/s1600/IMG_0405.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="240" n4="true" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_4leil77yaSg/TSzx0f6BFsI/AAAAAAAAAAo/y-mEH_V1dto/s320/IMG_0405.JPG" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><strong>Step 1:</strong></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Cut two pieces of scrapbook paper to be slightly smaller than the front and back of the clipboard, respectively. The paper you choose for the front of the clipboard will end up being a little smaller, because it has to accomodate the clipboard's hardware.</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;"><strong>Step 2:</strong></div>First we'll work on the front of the clip board. Using your paintbrush, slather a good amount of Mod Podge onto the bottom half of the back of the paper. Carefully place it onto the clipboard, then work any air bubbles out with your fingers, from the center to the edges. Repeat for the top half of the paper.<br />
<br />
<strong>Step 3:</strong><br />
Now it's time to personalize the paper you'll use on the back of your clipboard. I wrote "Miss Corinne" with Sharpie (use pencil first!) on the top of mine. Then I cut and pasted a little birdie from a coordinating piece of scrapbook paper, and drew him a Sharpie branch to sit on.<br />
<br />
<strong>Step 4:</strong><br />
Repeat step 2 for the back of the clipboard.<br />
<br />
<strong>Step 5:</strong><br />
Now comes the fun part -- using your paintbrush, seal the entire board with plenty of Mod Podge. You might notice that the Mod Podge causes air bubbles to form; that's okay! They'll disappear on their own when it dries, like magic. Remember to let the first side of the board dry completely before you start on the other side. Your clipboard may remain a little tacky for a few days, so give it plenty of time to dry before clipping any papers to it!<br />
<br />
Voila -- you're done!<br />
